Good morning! Walking has been my main form of exercise on my lunch breaks, but with the heat of Summer I was looking for another option and have been looking into Leslie Sansone. I want to order one, but there are just so many. Ant suggestions on which one to get? I know I can watch on YouTube, but I would like having the actual dvd. Thank you!

Depends how much time you have/are you still planning to do your walking on your lunch break? Maybe get just the 1 mile if that’s the case
Or if you know how far you were walking outdoors, get one of similar distance.
Now I haven’t done one of her workouts in probably 6-7 years so there may be a lot more options, but I usually alternated between the 3 and the 5 depending on what else I’d had planned that day0 -
Wally world sells these in the sporting goods section of the store. I used to have a couple for the opposite reason, when it was -40 below zero or too cold to take it back outside. Any of them will do. I did find myself getting tired of the same music and talking so I turned off the sound and turned on my own tunes. It's walking and marching in place, moving from side to side, back and forth, swinging your arms.1

I love these. Here's a "primer" of sorts.....
Walk Away the Pounds - these were originally VHS. There is no chaptering, the music volume is rather quiet. The best thing about these DVDs is you can buy them in inexpensively in compilations. My favorite - Leslie Sansone: Walk Away the Pounds - Fat Burning Miles. 4 different workouts here.
Walk at Home - these were just on DVD. There is chaptering (you can skip miles with a press of a button). The music volume is much better. Plus - you have Leslie's "old gang" here. Minus - you have the "bat cave" studio. Black background on most ...not real cheery. My favorite - Leslie Sansone Walk At Home 3 Mile Weight Loss Walk
Just Walk - these are the newest - just on DVD. There is chaptering on all and sometimes programming. You can program the order of miles on a few. There are pre-set workout options on others. The music - there is a music only option on most. This is a huge deal for some, not important for others. I'm partial to these. I like having the option of voice or no. I like having the ability to pick & choose.
A couple of favorites -
Leslie Sansone: Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan - this is programmable. Lots of options on this one.
Leslie Sansone The Tone Every Zone Walk - this uses weights nicely. A circuit style workout, deliberate strength sections so you can use heavier weights.
Boosted miles: this is code for higher impact moves like jogging. There will be miles with light weights, there will be miles with a resistance band. These aren't a substitute for strength training, but give a little bit more variety.
There are Leslie solo and Leslie with a group - she's more low key in solo videos - My favorite solo - Leslie Sansone: Walk at Home - 3 Mile Slim & Sleek Walk Plus Pilates

I am a Leslie fan as well. TeaBea has already given you a great description of the different video options. I started with the old Walk Away The Pounds videos 12 years ago when I lost weight and reached goal before my final pregnancy. The reason I like Leslie is because I am uncoordinated and other workout DVDs left me staring at the TV thinking "how am I supposed to move my body like that?". Leslie's workouts our much less complicated. She has 4 basic steps in addition to walking in place. (side steps, kicks, knee lifts, kick backs) I appreciate the simplicity and feel I get a good workout. She adds arm movements as well.
She's very personable and encouraging. I find her motivating most days. On other days, I am grumpy and I don't want to hear her (or anyone else) cheer me on. So, I mute her on those days, or I talk back to her sarcastically while working out.
If you are completely out of shape and considering her videos, just walk in place during the segments where you can't keep up. My older daughter comes to my house twice a week to do these videos with me. She's 25 and in much better shape than I am and enjoys the workouts as well. If you need to up the intensity, that is possible by making the movements bigger or sitting down into some of the movements. The Party Songs one I just picked up had some fun jogging, jumping, bouncing segments that lasted 30 seconds to amp it up a bit before walking again.
The 1 mile segments are basically a 15 minute walk plus cool down. The 2 miles are 30 minutes. The 3 miles are 45 minutes. The older videos has them as three completely separate standalone workouts. Some of the newer ones don't have as many options for picking and choosing.
The other Leslie video I use is much older. "You can do Abs" which is a fitness ball exercise using hand weights. I really enjoy using this to incorporate more strength training into my fitness routine. It's 30 minutes total and can be separated into upper body vs lower body if you don't want to do the whole 30 minutes. I'll add heavier dumbbells once I build more strength. I'm finding it to be very helpful for core strength.

Mix & Match Walk Blasters. I own the vast majority of her dvds, and this one is my go-to because it's broken down into 10 minute workouts, each with a different emphasis (arms, abs, faster pace, etc) and I can put them together however I want. There are a couple of slower-paced sections for when I'm not up to a big workout, but others are very challenging. Because each section is so short, the workout literally flies by.
The Walk to the Hits (Radio Remixes & Party Songs) are a lot of fun and feature LS's version of HIIT. Our whole family has done these before.2 -
I also second the Walk at Home 3 Mile Weight Loss Walk and I love the Walk Slim Series that feature the fast/boosted walking, but sadly have had some issues with the higher-impact routines (though they can be modified).0
