Best nsv for me so far.
My right knee has been in pain when I climb stairs, but lately it has not been bothering me.

OK, they were tight and I hung over the top a bit but I was in - hopefully wearing them comfortably is in sight. Each time I have got down to this weight I have gained it back very slowly - this time (my 3rd attempt) I am hopefully better prepared for maintenance when the time comes. Last time I never quite reached my goal weight before becoming complacent. This time I will!
In another NSV... I have almost tamed the dragonpants. I can get into them, but I do not fit them for sure (too much pudge getting squeezed out). SOON. 5 pounds or so, I think.
THE DAY IS COMING THE DRAGONPANTS WILL BE SLAIN AND MINE ONCE MORE.
My DRAGONPANTS are white and skinny and have these awesome big bellbottoms and they
hang there taunting me. You will be slain Dragonpants!
My DRAGONPANTS is a size Small dress (juniors small) that was hanging on a Medium hanger in the misses department, I was not paying attention and got it as it's super cute and was the only one there (hmmm, wonder why). I can put it on, it's just really snug and not flattering (yet). I try it back on every 10lbs I lose. Last time I could finally zip it up.
@VUA21 @solieco1 Time to slay the dragon! You’ll get them!

1) Just got back from my 45th Parkrun. Finished in a reasonable time, considering how hot it was there. I was pleased with it, anyway.
If I go every week between now and the end of July, I'll finally have earned my 50 Run t-shirt. That's going to involve a bit of travelling as the local one has a couple of cancellations over the next month. But I'm mad enough to get up crazy early and do it. And do lots of training between now and then in the hopes of getting a new PB.
2) And yesterday, absolutely hammered my time for my short (12 mile) bike ride. I was 5 minutes faster than the best time I've ever done. 46.2 mph down my hill (was nearly thwarted by an Asda grocery delivery van but he decided to break the speed limit as well). Made my eyes water a bit! And, this was the best bit, going up a hill to a bridge, I went flying past a very fit looking bloke on a bike. I never go past anyone else on a bike - they're usually younger, slimmer, fitter and on lighter bikes than me (I never see heading-towards-old-age old dears like me when I'm out on my mad bike rides) - so this was one of those "feel good" moments.
I am buzzing. Now i just have to drag my family out for a short bike ride before I go off on another adventure . . .25 -
Got up later than I'd planned this morning and had wanted to walk before sunrise because it's soooo hot (I live in FL). I walked anyway, the sun came up and it was just fine. Feeling happy that I didn't wimp out.20

My $20 Asian FitBit clone was lost playing water polo on SUPs at a lake. Two NSVs - (1) I was playing water polo on SUPs; it's pretty intense exercise and I have learned to paddle and balance well enough to do it. (2) I am not sure I will replace the FitBit clone. I track my dedicated walks with mmw and my longer SUP paddles with Strava. I feel sure I am getting enough exercise in general that I don't feel like I need to monitor every step to get extra credit for wandering around at WalMart.16 -
My size 8s fit, even though I'm bloated due to TOM. I've had size 8s fit to some extent since December, but every time I realize it, I get really happy because I've never been smaller than a 12 before since I've been an adult.26

Tonight I stopped eating my dinner as soon as I felt full. I'm normally a clear-the-plate kind of gal. That's huge for me! I wrapped up the rest and put it away for tomorrow's lunch. 😁31

I've been sick for about 7 weeks (this virus, you guys! WTH?). Normally, this is where I fall down in a heap and go "I'll start again when I'm better" and never do. This time, I persisted as best as I could without logging and managed to lose 2kgs. It's a fraction of what I would have lost if I was well (averaging 0.7kg/wk or 1.5lbs) but considering I spent two weeks literally sitting and trying to breathe through the coughing fits, and the fact that I'm still not exercising or even hitting my 10,000 steps... I'm pretty darn impressed.24

@workinonit1956 @motivatedmartha @HDBKLM Thank you!!
This level is complete. A brief enjoyment, and onto the next level! Plus, HELLO BIRTHDAY WEEK so great timing on the Fall of the Dragonpants.13 -
I'm not sure if this counts as an NSV but honestly I'm feeling so victorious I wanted to share -- I gathered up enough courage to enter the scary free weights section of my gym and have officially started a lifting programme! Week 1 is complete and I'm feeling awesome mentally and totally wiped (in a good way) physically!
Just going to focus on that instead of the fact that for no obvious reason my recent losses have vanished over 2 days without change in diet. Ignoring the scale this week but satisfied with other victories35 -

Your lifting causes tears in the muscle, which when your body repairs them, makes the muscles larger.
For the first couple of weeks these tears will result in water retention.
Will balance out shortly and you should see a drop.

Oh man this is so good to know, thank you so much for sharing that bit of info!

This was THE best feeling, I’m still happy about when mine needed to go down a few notches, and that was in 2016. Congratulations!
Weekend NSV’s: I logged everything despite not feeling like it at all, after two days of drinking and munching and one day of being hungover and munching. Also, yesterday I went for a run and realized halfway through that I had accidentally skipped a week in C25K. I finished the workout anyway, and managed to do the entire run without cheating. So, booyah, I’m now halfway through week 5 instead of week 4! I even ordered some new running gear from Amazon, both because my laundry cycle can’t keep up with all the sweaty stuff, and because I might accidentally like running again.17 -

A whole pile of my Summer clothes that I couldn' t wear last Summer are almost big on me now! 😁 The really big ones are in a bag for Goodwill!23

I worked up from walking a mile in 45 minutes to doing it in 28, and now I can handle five miles a day without huffing and puffing. It took two months.32

I thought I was good to go with my swim trunks; I have been using them paddle boarding with no problem. But the elastic is fully compressed and I didn't think about what happens when diving or swimming without a rash guard. The elastic expands a bit...
So I need to get new trunks with a drawstring that goes all the way around.

Earlier in the i did an XC cycling race.My husband was very embarrassed by my riding. Yesterday did the course again and he was very pleased by my progress,my technical skills and handling of the bike increased. And i did not push once.It is a beginner course but still improved.23

Two NSVs -
Went clothes shopping for the first time in over a year - down from large tops to mediums, and down a pants size :-)
But the bigger NSV - six straight months (180 days) of logging my food on MFP! The last time I counted calories 12 years ago, I dropped weight way too quickly, hit my goal weight, and immediately stopped tracking my calories. I managed to maintain my weight for a couple of years by just exercising like a madwoman. But life happened, and I gave up. I am not making the same mistake this time - slow and steady, and I will keep on tracking!35
