Scale going wrong direction...I think.

Hi all!! Here is some background. I am a former varsity volleyball player. I am 5’10 and in top condition I was about 150lbs and toned. About a month ago I started using MFP to help slim down. I learned from you all that my calorie intake was too low (1200-1500). About three weeks ago I started weight training 3 times a week and I play beach volleyball once a week, cardio and abs once a week. About a week ago I started full body work outs (before I was focusing on one muscle group at a time) and 15 min interval training after my weights, volleyball is stil once a week and yoga once a week. I was down to 168 and today I am 176!? I should also note, I changed my settings so I should lose 0.5lbs a week about a week ago. So now I am eating about 1900 calories per day. Any idea why the scale is going up? I feel stronger but I still have that yucky layer of fat. I need your wisdom! Thank you all in advance for your support and help!

Assuming you're measuring your calorie intake accurately, it's most likely water/glycogen retention due to your new exercise program. Quite common.5

New exercise=increased water weight
Increased food intake=increased waste in system and possibly increased water weight5 -
How long until this sorts itself out typically?0
