Raw or Cooked Chicken?

When it says that ____ calories for ____ oz of chicken is it raw or cooked? I assumed raw, but the problem is, I freeze my raw chicken and throw it on the grill frozen most of the time. So, if I type in grilled boneless, skinless chicken, it will say "Grilled or Char-Grilled Chicken Breast, 4 oz. for 189 calories." So, do you think I could count the ounces after it's cooked or frozen?

If it says grilled (like your example), that is the cooked weight.

Otherwise, it's the pre-cooked, raw weight.

I remember researching this and food is to be weighed after cooking. Meat/chicken/pork loses about 20% of its weight when cooked. When I make a burger, I add 20% to the weight I plan to eat.

I was always told it was the weight after you cook it too. I did weight watchers for awhile, and that is one thing that they said: You weigh and portion your meat out after cooking it.
