I love lifting weights, and I incorporate running too for cardio.
My upper body is something that in fairly proud of, my legs are progressing well. Yet I am struggling around my mid section. Is it a case of upping the cardio to shift some bf...or focusing more on lifting heavier and building some muscle in my mid section?

IMO it's a matter of being patient and continuing to recomp. If what you are showing is your struggle, you are at the point where changes happen slowly and you have to be patient and slog through. If you are lifting, continue to do so. If you're not, start yesterday. Adding more cardio is unlikely to be as useful as will patience and lifting.3

Sit ups and leg raisers will help with the belly. You will lose fat where your body chooses, now in specific areas. Just concentrate on muscle tone and the results will be seen. 😊1
