                    Hi guys my name is Tanya and I'm looking to lose 10kgs initially. Any advice is welcome. Thankyou

            Best advice I had was:
 - input your stats and use mfp targets based on a sensible rate of loss.
 - have realistic expectations (slow and steady is a the best for sustainability so don't be impatient)
 - trust mfp - it works
 - WEIGH your food to measure accurately and log accurately. Logging gets easier and quicker as your list of recent foods increases. I prelog to prevent those 'Oh dear that was worse than I though moments' but lots of people manage by not doing that.
 - moving more gives you more calories to play with and maked you feel better. Mfp exercise database is a bit generous so most people using it aim to eat half of their exercises back
 - read the pinned posts at the top of the forum boards - they contain lots of useful and pretty well validated information.
