when to stop eating?

on certain days of the week i do not get off work until around 10pm and i am usually hungry so i eat a snack when i get home. is eating too late a bad thing or does it matter as long as i stay within my calories? what time do you stop eating?

i do find sometimes that if i eat later at night my stomach feels and looks somewhat bigger and sometimes i gain a little bit in the moring but this usually subsides within a day or two0 -
you gotta gauge it for yourself... everyones different...i dont generally have a set time since im on shift work....i try not to stuff myself right before bed... but if im low on cals i will have something...0

I read that you're not supposed to eat 2 hours before bed.
But I think eating a snack should be fine as long as you're in your calorie range...0 -
Some folks set have a specific cut-off time, but base it on your own schedule and what works for you...0

My dad doesnt eat if its after 6 pm cuz he can't sleep. I choose not to eat an hour before I go to bed. Eating makes me tired so even when I wanna take a nap I make sure I'm still awake for one hour.0

NO! actually there are studies that show that when we eat alot of our calories at night, we have more significant FAT loss. sounds unbelieveable...I know

Yes. You can eat before going to bed as long as you have the allotted calories. In fact, I have to or I will wake up hungry in the middle of the night!0

i eat whenever i get hungry even if its right before bed0
