I like the almond. But I like the Silk cashew even more. Goes great in a protein shake.

If you like it and it doesn't put you over your calories, it's fine.3

You can drink what you like on a diet.... Just make it fit your calories.6

You can have ice cream on a diet if you want. What is it about calories that you don’t understand? Why are we still unclear about how and why we get fat or not? I’ve lost 19 lbs since I’ve tracked my calories on MFP and I’ve eaten plenty of ice cream! My goal was to loose 20 lbs and I’ve almost gotten their and am just keeping under my allotted calories given to me to eat daily. And when I get their I’ll just make sure to track my calories and not worry about if I want to eat a candy bar. And I’m sure you can find hundreds of stories just like mine .6

There are no universal weight loss rules that restrict any food item or a beverage. To lose weight you simply need to fit the item into your calorie budget for the day or the week. The only one you have to ask for permission is you.4

The answer to "Is it OK to eat/drink X when on a diet?", assuming that "on a diet" means "attempting to control one's weight" is always "yes, so long as you can fit X within your calorie budget, unless X is poisonous, spoiled, or contaminated, or you have an allergy or intolerance for X, or X violates some religious or moral precept that you adhere to."12

I drink almond milk even though I could make room for regular milk. I like it, especially in cereal. I really like the chocolate almond. Sometimes I make it myself with Ovaltine. Like others said, if you don't go over on calories you can have what you want. But it is nice to find a few things that I actually like that are low in calories. Makes more room for other stuff.1

That. I have ice cream or chocolate every day. Keeps me happy and on track.0 -
I don't think the unsweetened is bad either and plus one for the cashew.0
