They started framing the new house today and I’m super excited about it

And one of the builder’s guys is giving us a kitten tomorrow morning, I’m so excited!

When I first read this my brain immediately tried filling in the “kitten” with the appropriate bad word.

    BAHAHAHAHA
    I did the same thing.....

My son finishes grade 3 today! Before his adhd diagnosis he was very introverted, had no belief in hismself, no friends and was a solid c’s and d’s student. Now he’s finishing grade 3 in a new school, made a ton of new friends, is out there trying new things everyday, brought home an all A’s report card yesterday and won the humanitarian award at school. I’m very proud of this boy and the hard work he’s put in, it wasn’t easy but he see’s now it’s worth it.

My son is 5 and was diagnosed with ADHD this year. Its been a rough year at school so this is nice to hear. Happy for you and your son!

Well, my husband landed the job interview at a new comedy venue. He is now the personal assistant to the owner and will have the chance to move up. The owner is going to show him the ropes of running the shows and the business side. One of his duties is to pick the entertainers up and take them to where they need to be: radio stations/interviews/hotel etc. I am so thankful that he has this opportunity.

Found out my bff is moving back much closer to me. So excited to be able to see her more!

Also got a "new" used car yesterday. Feels brand new to me! Hated to give up my old car, but she was 16 years old and needed to be retired.

Can I come with? I’ll be spending all weekend watching beach soccer. In Kansas City, where we have no beaches. This is a thing.

I rented a cottage on the beach for the weekend with the kids.

Good news : my daughter is brigning a friend and my son's girlfriend is coming. That means they'll be entertained and I can just be a beach bum :D

More good news : I'm flying to the US Wednesday. All good things! :)

    Coming to visit me??:3
