Trying to break through a plateau!

Hi, everyone, I'm Rick in Indianapolis.
This has been a pretty darn good year for me. Down 62 pounds since January 1st. I did it by eating smarter and moving more. I vary my exercise between weights at the gym, cycling, and walking. Eating smart actually came easier to me than I thought it would.
But, at 62 pounds, I've hit a big plateau and just can't seem to break through. I've heard such good things about this site, thought I'd join--I'm certain it can't hurt!
I'm a very social guy, so would welcome any friend requests! I'm 62 years old, married, and owned by 2 domineering cats.
Have a great day everyone!

Welcome,
I think these two links are extremely helpful and can help you get the most out of MFP:
http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1234699/logging-accurately-step-by-step-guide/p1
http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1
The first covers accurate logging and some of the tools in MFP to help you make things easier. The second discusses caloric needs and setting goals. These two posts completely changed my MFP experience and helped me be much more successful, so I hope they do the same for you.
~Best wishes on your journey1 -
Do a high carb day! And then back to what you normally do. Eat a pizza .. trick your body .. and sometimes that will "reset" it and get it moving!2
