Have a desk job? Then you know the struggle! It seems like we have to work extra hard outside of our daily jobs to lose weight...because...we...sit...so...much!!!!

Im in school, So i also sit for most of the day. Hours of classes followed by hours of studying. I try to get up and move when I can. I go outside for a 20 min walk when I can.

If I didn't have my fitbit reminders to move I would sit on my butt several hours in a row. It's bad.

I work 12 hour shifts rotating back and forth from days to nights. I try to sit for 1-2 hours then stand for 1 hour. I try to be as active as I can when I am off and when no one is around I workout in my "horse shoe" as we call it. kptkt1i4dx1j.jpg

I've got a sit/stand desk at work as well. I do find that I tend to be pretty fidgety when I'm standing. Now whether that is due to standing in one place or the music...who knows.

Yeah it sucks. My low back and hips get really tight from sitting all day. Whenever I get up throughout the day I stretch my hips and they always pop. If i don't put any conscious effort into walking more, I would probably only average like 3-4k steps a day. It's ridiculous.
