Is 3% body fat loss in 3 months attainable and healthy?

So I’m using kettlebells 3-4x a week in a bid to lose fat and not focus on scale weight. I am already in a normal BMI and my fat currently sits at 27%. I am female fyi.
I wanted to know if going down to 24% body fat from 27% body fat is a good rate of loss in 3 months..?
Thanks!

I don't remember.. but are you trying to lose or maintain (recomp)? If you are eating in a deficit, with adequate protein and training, sure I don't see why not. But this also depends on how you are measuring your bodyfat and how accurate it is in the first place. I don't track my bodyfat but after a bulk I go from high to very lean in around 3-4 months. If you are recomping it might be a different story, recomp is a slower process and results are not as predictable and they will vary from person to person.

I’m eating at a deficit of 500 calories daily and keeping my protein level around 120g. I’m 153 pounds.
I have body composition scales that give me my body fat reading and although I’m aware it isn’t likely to be accurate, I’m using it as a guide to see the trends. I’ll be weighing on it once a month and in the same conditions (first thing, empty stomach, no clothes etc).
Thanks for the reply!0 -
Yea in a deficit you definitely should see results. Just make sure you are progressive in your lifting, so lifting heavier, adding resistance, or doing more reps over time.0

Why are you concerned with specific numbers like "3% bf"?

Unless you're competing or a sport your participatng in has specific requirements, I'd let the mirror and your health/wellbeing be your guide.

I agree. BF is interesting to know but the mirror is what’s important.1
