I am what you would call morbidly obease for my height, it’s taken a while for me to admit it but now o finally am.
My SW is 250 my GW 125 - looking for people similar or who have been in this position to help keep me motivated and together we can reach our goals!

My sw was 257 current 242 gw 130. I'm only 5'2. I'm positive about getting to my goal weight.5

Also considered morbidly obese for my age. I’m 21 and weigh 277lbs. I’m pretty all my weight is in my stomach and thighs but I really don’t look as much as I weigh. But I’d like to get back to 160. Last time I was 160 was in middle school. I definitely could use all the motivation. Thanks6

I would love to have some support. Sounds like a good group. My SW was 248 and am now at 224.4. Hoping to get to 150. Have been at it since March and feeling good. I think the real test will be when it starts to get cold here. I have been really pushing to get my 10k steps on the fitbit and making a whole lot better choices and eating less. Let's do this together.3

I would love to be added to your group. I am a new member to MFP and was hoping to find a group of people who will encourage me on this journey and me to encourage them. After procrastinating and perfecting my denial about my weight I got a shock this week when the doctor's office scale registered me at 311 lbs. I saw myself in a full length mirror (the first time in so long I do not remember) the other day and had another shock. I did not like what I saw in the mirror or on the scale. The goal set for me by my doctor is to be below 200 lbs, losing at least 111 lbs. I would be truly grateful if you added me to your group. Thanks, in advance.6

Hi Maggie. I’m in a very similar situation to yourself. I signed up only a couple of weeks ago and it was after being weighed at the doctor’s. I’m working really hard now as I’m desperate to shift this weight.1

Started at 254lbs on Oct 30 2016. Now 147.8 and closing in on a healthy BMI! You can do this! Slow and steady!5

I started at 332 and am down to 302, still got a long way to go to get to my goal of 145, but i know its not a sprint! takes time and dedication so just going one step at a time.6

I started at 259 in Feb 2018, currently at 204. Not sure what my goal weight is, somewhere between 160-170 but not sure really, i'm 5'7. I thought the first 50lb was hard, it wasn't!! the latter half of my weight is proving to be the hardest/most frustrating to lose!2

I too was considered obese at 242lbs in January, I'm now overweight at 167lbs and hoping to be normal (147lbs) by September! Stay focused, keep your food diary every day and slowly increase your exercise. Most importantly enjoy your progress!4

Just started this past week at 237, I want to get to get down to 170 then I will set another goal weight to 150. I agree let’s do this together. We all need to cheer each other on!!2

I started around 302 lbs, Now at 275 and onwards to at least 165!
It might take awhile but years of bad decisions being "canceled" out in about years time seems like a decent trade off.2 -
