Three Month Challenge- Who's With Me!?

Hey everyone! I am finding myself in serious need of motivation and accountability, so I thought I'd start a challenge group! All are welcome!
As summer comes to a close and fall begins, I am serious about getting healthy, stronger, and dropping the pounds that have crept up on me! This is the only body that I've got, and I want to take care of it! So, just reply to this thread if you want to join!
Some guideines:
-Weigh-ins will be on Mondays. I've found that this helps me, because I eat more carefully on the weekends, knowing I have to
weigh-in Monday am!
-Goals: set any goals you'd like! Whether it's to lose 1 pound a week, survive 30 Day Shred or to just get tone.
-This challenge will start today, and go through November 14. That way, when everyone sees you during the holidays, they can
see how fabulous you look! ; )
So, post your info as soon as possible, and I will start a spreadsheet highlighting everyone's goals and accomplishments! Oh, and be sure to add me as a friend! Check back here on this forum, this is where we'll post!

OTHER GOALS: Fit into a size 8 pair of J.Crew corduroys that I have! And to just be healthier...feeling sexier and stronger!
OTHER INTERESTS: Loving God, loving people! Also, Kayaking, cooking, baking, singing, playing piano, hiking and hanging out with my husband and family!
OCCUPATION: Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery- so fun!)
Measurements: (It's SO awesome seeing progress!! We'll check in on these monthly.)

I would love to join! I wil have to post all of my info later because I'm right in the middle of something, but saw this and had to say I'll join! This week, I can't do any workouts due to doctor's orders. I have an appointment on Friday, and hopefully will be able to start exercising again!!!! If I do anything, I might try to do some ab workouts, she just said I can't run like I was doing before, and to not do anything that would stress out my joints! She thinks I have RA and until I see my specialist, I'm to take it easy! Anywho, I'll be back with my measurements!0

Ladies, I am seriously so excited about this!! As one of you said, and I totally agree, sometimes, I am really gung-ho about these challenges in the beginning, then I get tired of working hard and I begin slacking off. Not this time!!
Here's to healthier, sexier, stronger bodies!!
As soon as the group is full (40 people) I will start a new thread where we can begin to post about our challenge, how we're doing and feeling, and how we're kicking butt!! I will send out a list of all the ladies in the group, so we can all add each other, keeping each other accountable.
You know that feeling of pulling on an old pair of pants that has been to small for too long? Yea, that's the feeling I'm going for...
You know that feeling you get when someone you haven't seen in a while tells you how slammin' you look? Also amazing!!
Or when you look in the mirror and are pleased at what you see...not because you're runway-model skinny or emaciated, and not because you're comparing yourself to anyone else...But you like what you see because you're taking care of yourself, your body. Spiritually, emotionally, mentally and of course, physically.
Thank you all for sharing little things about yourself, it's always nice to have a little background info!
So, twelve weeks.
Will you look and feel the same as you do today, or look and feel a heck of a lot better?
It's up to us....
