As it celebrates is 242nd birthday, let's share what we like about living here.
O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
Come to think of it, what fruit grows in the plains?

It describes the view as seen from the top of Pikes Peak. At 14,410 ft, the skies are spacious, the mountains in all directions look purple, and below are the cities of Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. They lie in a fertile valley full of apple and cherry orchards. As far as one can see towards the east are amber waves of grain.

You'll change your mind when you try Chic-fil-A. It's so 'Merican they have a bald eagle fly over and apply the seasoning to the chicken.
Also our donut holes are pretty great, just ask @DeadliftsAndSprinkles2 -
