So, I know the first step is to reduce body fat through a calorie deficit.

Can you change the shape of your legs or will they just be a leaner version? will everyones arms look the same after being in the same conditions with the same exercises? are peoples muscles designed the same?

How can you get a butt like this? how many squats/lunges/whatever a day should you do?

Would you focus more on exercise you enjoy, or that will give you the results you want?

If you suffer from low muscle tone due to something like autism or downs syndrome, how long would it take to be at a normal level or above average level?

I thought if I committed to 5 years of working on my body, I would get to where I wanted to be. Probably is, I hate resistance/weight type activites.

I don't love it, but it's a means to an end so I do enough to help me meet my goals.

    First, genetics.

    Second, a balanced diet.

    Third, squats.

Third, (squats.) activating the right muscles with a variety of exercises

Fixed that for you. Most people who squat don't work on the right muscles to start with. There are quite a few muscles in the bum, and the ones you want for a shapely derrière need a lot of attention.

Can not alter skeletal frame (adult) or change your muscle insertions.
However, you can lose enough fat to reveal what your muscles really look like & slowly grow overtime through hypertrophy training.

Ex) As much as I would desire the have "heart" shaped bicep peaks, this is something I can not train for or attain since my bicep insertions are rather long. Make the most of what you are given (genetics)
