So, I know the first step is to reduce body fat through a calorie deficit.
Can you change the shape of your legs or will they just be a leaner version? will everyones arms look the same after being in the same conditions with the same exercises? are peoples muscles designed the same?
How can you get a butt like this? how many squats/lunges/whatever a day should you do?
Would you focus more on exercise you enjoy, or that will give you the results you want?
If you suffer from low muscle tone due to something like autism or downs syndrome, how long would it take to be at a normal level or above average level?
I thought if I committed to 5 years of working on my body, I would get to where I wanted to be. Probably is, I hate resistance/weight type activites.

First, the direct, simplified answers to your seven questions bolded:alwaysbloated wrote: »

Yes, to an extent. Change the shape of bodyparts by losing fat and adding muscle at the desired proportion

No, there's more to it than lift X weight Y times per week for Q number of weeks to look like Z. Limb length, body proportions, and genetics all have to do with the end result, as does simple body geometry.

There's more to it than just lifting to get a butt like this. There's also more to it than working glutes to shape your butt; abductors and hamstrings play a role as well. Getting shapely in that department may entail building significant muscle mass depending on what you're starting point is. This is going to likely require a number of bulk /cut cycles or a very long recomp process. A proven, structured program like StrongCurves is probably a good place to start. I know there are other users who have been very successful "building a booty".

That's a personal question that you have to answer yourself. Do you want to look a certain way more than you want to enjoy your activities? Maybe there's a happy medium. Personally, I didn't think I liked weightlifting all that much until I got away from P90X-style "get ripped quick" programs and got into more traditional programming; now I'm hooked and it coincidentally aligns with my goal physique.
If you suffer from low muscle tone due to something like autism or downs syndrome, how long would it take to be at a normal level or above average level?
I'm not well-versed about those conditions to speak directly to them, however, there is a limit to how much and how fast muscle can be gained naturally and it's generally less and slower than most people realize.
Beyond the questions, I feel I'd be remiss if I didn't comment on your last few lines. There's a level of work entailed in maintaining an "ideal" physique that it doesn't seem you've fully considered. Yes, you could go all-in for five years and make significant changes to your body doing exercise you admittedly don't like. However, you can't expect to cross that five-year finish line and never pick up another weight and coast without some degradation of that physique, especially if you've added muscle in amounts and it places you don't carry or engage naturally.8 -

I don't love it, but it's a means to an end so I do enough to help me meet my goals.

I agree with @steveko89
Genetics, constiency, possible bulk/cut cycles, lots and lots of patience.
To add.. I've been lifting for over 4 years. I've run 3 bulk cycles. I also have genetics that help me look a certain way.5 -
First, genetics.
Second, a balanced diet.
Third, squats.0 -
First, genetics.
Second, a balanced diet.
Third, (squats.) activating the right muscles with a variety of exercises
Fixed that for you. Most people who squat don't work on the right muscles to start with. There are quite a few muscles in the bum, and the ones you want for a shapely derrière need a lot of attention.

To "get a butt like this" do the following:
1. Take off your pants
2. Sit in wet sand
3. Take pic
4. Put your pants back on
5. Import pic into photoshop
6. Apply shading and contouring tools I til you get desired look
7. Post pic online11 -
Can not alter skeletal frame (adult) or change your muscle insertions.
However, you can lose enough fat to reveal what your muscles really look like & slowly grow overtime through hypertrophy training.
Ex) As much as I would desire the have "heart" shaped bicep peaks, this is something I can not train for or attain since my bicep insertions are rather long. Make the most of what you are given (genetics)3
