Can changing up food/exercise regularly make you avoid an eventual plateau?

I know everyone eventually plateaus after a certain amount of weight loss....

1. how much weight generally can you lose because this happens or how much time passes before you’ll hit the plateau?

2. Also, if you change up exercise and the food you eat quite regularly, does this mean you will avoid a stall?

I’ve been wondering the same thing and have.been trying to mix up what I eat and change the exercise routines every 4 weeks. So far I’ve had no real plateaus!

36.6lbs down and 10.6 to go.

This should probably be in Debate or General diet.

As you lose weigh, you will need to reduce the number of calories you eat, otherwise you are eating at maintenance level, ie: A plateau. Every time you lose 10lbs, adjust your weight in your settings, and mfp will reduce your calories accordingly.
