Just wondering what all you ladies n fellas that are on keto do,do you eat fat as a target or do you eat to satiety,I’m 8 weeks into a 14 week keto diet and started off aiming to get 75% of my daily macros from fat which saw me consuming around 170g of fat a day,I came across an article today which read that you should eat fat to satiety, once you’ve got all the essential nutrients and protein that you need only then should you consume additional dietary fat to the point of not being hungry, thus allowing your body to use its own fat stores as its primary source of fuel rather than dietary fat

Calories should be you're #1 priority, so if you require a 250 caloric deficit, that's your priority, if you're a lifter, then comes protein and then your fats.

I just eat to satiety. And I define that loosely...sometimes it's more the knowledge that if I eat cheese for a snack, three hours later I'm less likely to be hungry than if i'd eaten an apple. It's not that I'm still hungry after eating the protein and then eat cheese. :-)

I focus on hitting or exceeding protein, not going above net carbs, and I eat fat because it tastes good.
