Ladies, I am seriously so excited about this!! As one of you said, and I totally agree, sometimes, I am really gung-ho about these challenges in the beginning, then I get tired of working hard and I begin slacking off. Not this time!!
Here's to healthier, sexier, stronger bodies!!
As soon as the group is full (40 people) I will start a new thread where we can begin to post about our challenge, how we're doing and feeling, and how we're kicking butt!! I will send out a list of all the ladies in the group, so we can all add each other, keeping each other accountable.
You know that feeling of pulling on an old pair of pants that has been to small for too long? Yea, that's the feeling I'm going for...
You know that feeling you get when someone you haven't seen in a while tells you how slammin' you look? Also amazing!!
Or when you look in the mirror and are pleased at what you see...not because you're runway-model skinny or emaciated, and not because you're comparing yourself to anyone else...But you like what you see because you're taking care of yourself, your body. Spiritually, emotionally, mentally and of course, physically.
Thank you all for sharing little things about yourself, it's always nice to have a little background info!
So, twelve weeks.
Will you look and feel the same as you do today, or look and feel a heck of a lot better?
It's up to us....

I am so in and excited about this challenge. I will forward my info this evening when I get home. I was doing very well with my weight loss until I was in a car accident a couple of months ago that resulted in a knee injury. I am all about cardio and was not able to do any cardio which helps relieve me of stress. All I can say is my need for comfort food has taken over and I am back on the road to weight loss again!!!!

Following a Diet: Now just counting calories and watching portion sizes. Trying to add more water...little less Diet Pepsi!
Diet Goals: Try to cut out Diet Pepsi and try to manage more on my stress eating.
Exercise Goals: To workout daily and get myself back on the ball. Goal is to run a 5K in December. Would have liked to this Sept. but I kept putting it off.
Other Goals: To put less focus on food and more on family and friends.
Other Interests: My family and loving God. Very active in church and do almost every ministry there is but children's ministry is where my heart is at.
Occupation: Stay at home Mom Mon-Friday and work as an LPN on the weekends...best of both worlds!

My goal is to get back to where I was prior to having my boys. At one time I weighed 300 and then Weight Watchers helped me take off 160lbs. Now, trying to get back down and finding myself again. EXERCISE GOALS: 100 consecutive push-ups by Octoberish, be able to run for 45-60 minutes without stopping by November, use 10lb weights during strength training by end of Aug. and through Nov., and make sure I incorporate butt exercises every single day!
OTHER GOALS: Get rid of my arm flab, and get my thighs down from 23ish inches to 20 inches.

OTHER GOALS: Be able to confidently wear a bikini on a trip to Florida I have planned in October.
