How do you log your 30min HIIT classes? I use my apple watch and when I sync, my daily diary shows no exercise? Not sure if I should just manually log it under cardio or strength....? Thanks for advise in advance!!

I log mine as cardio- General aerobics.
It’s not quite as high a calorie burn as they claim for HIIT but not too far out.
Good luck1 -
Thanks! Kinda what I was thinking! Do you know if apple watch is supposed to sync exercise to MyfitnessPal? I may have setting wrong...0

Log it as the activity you're actually doing: Calisthenics, circuit training, running, rowing, aerobics. HIIT is not an exercise per se. It's an exercise strategy or intensity.4

Apple Watch will sync if your setting is correct. My watch goes through Health App on my IPhone0

HIIT won't sync over if you choose that as the workout on the watch. Most of the "other" categories don't apply properly to the sync process. I ran across a list once of what syncs and what doesn't, but can't find it now.0

If I record something on my Garmin that MFP doesn't recognize, it comes over as something generic. I forget what. I'm surprised Apple doesn't work the same way.
Log it as what you did. If it was running with sprint intervals, put it in as running. Etc. Maybe shorten the time seeing as how HIIT involves a lot of rest time.0 -
Don't name the workout HIIT, just use straight "other" and it will pass through fine. If you want, circuit training is one of the labels that synchs fine.0
