Protein Powder Recipes (OTHER THAN SHAKES)

Options
Hey Guys! I've been looking for recipes (mostly baking) that use protein powder in them and haven't found that many good ones. I have chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry protein powder. If anyone has any good recipes let me know!

I make these to rave reviews. The texture is much improved with a couple tablespoons of flour.

    Not possible. Carbs are cheaper.

I'm sure it is possible to make a high protein diet plan, meal prepping can be a great way to save money and make a lot of food in advance for a fairly low cost.

It is not possible to come up with a low cost ALL PROTEIN diet. Proteins are more expensive (in nature and in the lab) to produce than carbohydrates. They are a more complex molecule.

For optimal health, there’s a minimum protein I should have daily. I get no metabolic benefit from exceeding that amount. It’s most economical to fill in the rest of the calories with fats and carbs.

"Sludge" is a pretty satiating alternative form. Essentially it is protein pudding - use little water to make into a paste-pudding like consistency based on what you prefer. Commonly, other ingredients are added (oats, various nuts/legumes whole or butter forms, berries, etc.) based on macro goals.

    Cinnamon Pumpkin Muffins
    Servings: 12 muffins
    about 35 calories each

    Ingredients
    1 can pumpkin purée - 15 oz
42 grams protein powder - Quest Cinnamon Crunch
    2 tsp cinnamon
    1.5 tsp baking powder
    2.5 tbsp granulated erythritol
    5 egg whites
    Pinch of salt

    Instructions
Preheat oven to 330*. Mix all of the ingredients together, adding the baking powder at the end. Scoop into the muffin cups (I use individual silicone baking cups, if you don’t use a liner you’ll want to spray the pan because they’ll stick) and bake for 27/28 minutes.

These also are really good if you use Trutein Peanut Butter Marshmallow Cookie protein powder and omit the cinnamon spice.
