I’m almost 50 years old and about 50lbs overweight. I want to look and feel healthy again and I need more energy. We really adopted a young child and she has plenty of energy while I’m always wiped out and sleepy. I also want to look good and fit again. I’ve lost almost 50lbs before but I was single with no kids then, it’s a bit harder now. But I need to do this.

I feel your pain, I’m 50 next year too, I’ve put on 70lbs since working over the last 5 years, no excuses, just greedy and switched off liking myself... but that’s in the past now, I’m on my journey and love this app, logging every day and its definitely helping 👍 starting to feel a bit better too, hopefully start running again soon, hope my knees won’t tell me off too much😂

I am turning 55 this month and am looking to lose +45 pds. I am currently working towards my first -10. Two main things I am changing in my mind for now. Make smaller goals to work towards and have fun with my exercising. These were tips I've gotten along the way and I'm hoping they work for me as they have for others. I'm also making small changes at a time in my diet in the hope that the changes will become permanent and not seem like a denial or burden. (Another tip)
These boards can offer good tips and ideas in lots of areas. Good Luck.
