MFP was very helpful when I lost about 60 lbs 4 years ago. Now I don't track my calories and that didn't seem to be an issue 4 years ago losing 60 lbs so don't try to put me down for not tracking calorie intake.
Anyway, I have gone thru divorce for past 15 months and it's finally over. My weight has gone up during divorce process as my diet has gotten lax and I have made a habit of drinking 4-8 Vodka cocktails almost nightly. At first it was to cope with stress of divorce but then it became routine as I was alone most nights in my apartment. I know I have to curtail the alcohol and I hope I can.
Anyway, my clothes are not fitting right anymore. I still workout (cardio and weight machines) 4-5 times a week but I feel I don't have any true goal. I am just doing the same thing week by week in the gym.
I was down to 192 lbs September 2014. I weighed myself for the first time in 2 years this morning and came in at 228 lbs. I am 6-3" and 46 years old. I would like to lose 28 lbs and get down to 200.
I just hope that switch will go on and I can stick to my goal. I met someone who is into fitness and looking good. I want to look good for her.
I am open to recommendations.

Hey man, I've just hit the 60lbs down point myself. It can be tough, but we have to push through the plateaus and slumps. This community has been a huge part of it for me. Feel free to send me an add if you'd like.0
