My doctor keeps telling me I'm gaining to much and that I'm "fluffy" I'm 34 weeks. And I told him I'm going to start working out and he didnt argue with me though I'm suppoes to be on bed rest. So what kind of exercises would you recommend for a pregnant woman.

If you're supposed to be on bedrest, you shouldn't be working out. Is it possible you misunderstood your doctor? It's worth a call to speak to his nurse for clarification. Not the kind of thing to be taking chances with.6

Ask him. Even for a healthy pregnancy it isn't recommended to start anything new, and if you're on bed rest it could be very dangerous for you and your baby.1

Get a new doctor. It is not recommended to start any new exercise during pregnancy especially in the third trimester. Walking is usually the one safe go to, but if you’re supposed to be on bed rest that’s absolutely NOT what you should do. Your doctor is an idiot. Get a second opinion. Also swelling and water weight gain are super common in the third trimester. You doctor should be checking to make sure your blood pressure and other factors are not there to indicate over all risk. There is no such thing as just a limited range for how much weight you should gain. 25-35 lbs is “average” but there are lots of other factors to consider before determining if somebody is gaining too much.1

Exercise isn't the most important tool you have if you want to gain a healthy amount of weight, anyway. Your diet is. In the 3rd trimester, maintenance calories plus about 450 is generally recommended.
Bear in mind water weight is beyond your control. I gained 6 pounds in 7 days toward the end, despite barely having an appetite. My ankles disappeared.1 -
I’d definitely call the office for clarification.0

OMG! Seriously, if you are told bed rest, do it.2

Thats crazy. Im sorry but that doesnt sound right. Now is not the time to worry about gaining too much. You cant diet pregnant and shouldnt. I wouldnt worry about how you can not gain at this point and if you are on bedrest you shouldnt be working out.
Just eat real whole foods. If you misunderstood and you arent on bedrest Prenatal yoga (for 3rd trimester) and walking is good at this point.
I gained 35lbs-40lbs with my 3 kids. I ate healthy, dont overeat at all and worked out until I delivered. It is what it is. I lose it in 3-4 months post partum so my doctor never once said i was gaining to much.
Good luck. I would call to clarify.0 -

Seriously? Your doctor has you on bed rest and you are asking this question on an internet forum?
Why would you put yourself and baby at risk?
Talk to you doctor. Bed rest usually means bed rest and it is for a very good reason.1
