How much do you have to lose? That, and your calorie deficit, and how diligently you stick to your calorie deficit, is waht determines how much you can lose per week. For 3 pounds per week you need to be morbidly obese.

Hi Kommodebran .I am morbidly obese and have to loose 10 stone.
I am sometimes under my calorie intake so don't know why it's slow.
Yes I am being careful too.
The inches are going down. Just not the scales.
    It's very annoying .

Hmm... scales. My scales give me different readings depending on where I place them in the room. I've been weighed at the doctor's three times, twice in the same week and got different readings. Another different reading at the dietitian's. So I guess you have to be weighed on the same scales every time, which I assume you are. I wouldn't go under your calories intake, if that happens too often your body might think it's starving and hold onto the fat you're trying to shift. Also, if your skin is getting looser, that might be contributing to a 'false' reading, so in the future you might do toning exercises to firm up your skin or be able to have excess skin removed surgically. You're losing inches, which may be a good indicator that the weight is coming off. And weight loss can fluctuate from week to week, so you might lose slightly more one week and slightly less the next. But it might not matter how much you're losing each week as long as you continue shedding the weight. Keep going, keep your goal in mind and try not to fixate on the scales. If you can feel your body changing, it probably is.

Well, the inches going down is good, even if scale weight isn't moving as fast as you would like.

How are you measuring your food intake? Food scale or measuring cups? And looking at your diary, some of your days are really low, which isn't good. You should be aiming to eat your calorie goal each day. I know it seems counterintuitive, but you need those calories to fuel your daily activity.
