Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew of any certain foods that are rich is collagen or good for the skin and it's elasticity? I have to take meds that have caused my skin to thin a bit and it's started causing me stretchmarks so I was hoping supplementing more collagen into my diet might help. Does anyone know if this would help and what foods would be a good source for it? :)

Bone broth and gelatin come to mind (there's always room for Jello, right Bill?)

I don't know how effective these are, but bone broth and gelatin are what comes to mind for me as well.

I add collagen hydrolysate gelatin to my morning smoothies. Boosts the protein, if nothing else and my nails seem to be growing faster and stronger. The hydrolysate kind doesn't thicken the liquid it's added to.

A protein rich diet. Both collagen and elastin are proteins so getting enough protein will give your genetic capabilities the best chance of performing to their potential.

Exercise, helps with circulation and cell turnover.

Good hydration helps the skin look better.

    Cheers, h.

Either take it with vitamin C or buy the kind that has vitamin C in it.. Makes it more bioavailable.

Vital proteins collagen peptides, helps your nails, skin and hair. Helps my dog's coat, too. Ayup. My friend's cat is cray cray shizz over their products, he has his own stuff and gets mad when he can't have them. My dog begs and barks for them, too. When the animals like them....itpb7o15ruhq.jpg.
