Face breaking out...
This hot weather and humidity is not good for my skin. I break out way more in the summer...plus on the weekends I workout a lot during the day (hiking/steps, etc.) so I am sweating, etc.
I break out mainly on my chin and around my mouth, weird thing is I do not break out on my forehead or cheeks just the chin and around the mouth. The worst part is I am 50 and 30+ years on still dealing with zits and oily skin. In the winter my skin hardly ever broke out but summer tends to be the worst. I had three huge zits on my chin this past weekend:(
Any tips?:)

I agree that there's a chance it's hormonal.

This might not work for you and honestly, that's what *kitten* sucks about acne. Everyone is different and what works for me might not work for you. But! Since using those two products, along with the rest in my routine, it's made a huge difference in my skin.
PS - despite still having some residual hormonal acne, my skin feels really great, which I love.
PPS - for clarity, this is my routine:
AM: Cetaphil cleanser, African black soap, witch hazel with rose water, Cetaphil moisturizer
PM: if I've worn makeup I'll use Erase Your Face cloths to remove it. Then it's Cetaphil cleanser, African black soap, witch hazel with rose water, retinol serum, benzoyl peroxide.
It's a lot, but all of the products are fairly cheap, and it's been working great for me and hasn't dried my skin out at all.

Supposedly, the chin/jawline breakouts are hormonal. I don't know if I buy that or not.
I've been having reasonably good luck with the clarisonic thingie at night - TWO minutes, not just one. At night, I use the Neutrogena retinol and the neutrogena salicylic acid acne treatment. It's supposed to be a spot treatment, but I spread a little bit of it ALL OVER the jawline, every night, and that seems to help keep them at bay. Then in the morning, I use the benzoyl peroxide treatment only as needed. It's not a miracle or anything, but it's under control.2 -
I use Cerave cleanser and use witch hazel as a toner. I don't mind the odd breakout but this is ridiculous when I get these huge zits that can be seen a mile away:( What surprises me is how my skin is as oily as it was when I was a teenager:(

Yeah not sure either about the hormonal thing..I have always broken out in that area even when I was younger.0 -

Make sure your not touching your face with the palms of your hands. I had a bad habit of when I was on my computer at work or thinking of restingmy jawline and Chin in the palm of my hand. I had clear skin every where else, but had thousands! Thousands! Of blackheads and zits there. I stopped touching my face and use the other side of my hand to rest it on. They all went away almost immediately.0 -
A thread full of people who understand my pain. I hate hormonal acne. I'm in my 30s and still having to battle this crap. And makeup makes it worse ( doesn't matter what brand or type). None of the treatments thus far have worked either.
I might try that suggestion above though as it's new to me.1 -
My breakouts are generally hormonal and in my chin area mostly.0
