Going from one extreme to another seems like the right thing to do when you're desperate. Don't let desperation get the better of you. You need a dramatic change in behavior, attitude and possibly food environment, but the behavior, attitude and food environment should not be extreme. You're not eating like you do in order to gain weight, but because you like it, so you can't expect to do something you hate, in order to lose weight, and not expect to fail miserably. Even a sensible, nutritious diet is hard to stick to if it's not tuned to your preferences in taste and mouthfeel. You are proposing something out of a sick person's mind. Nobody in their right mind would condone, let alone join you in, this endeavour.

    I'll join you...I like juicing.
Have a look at Jason Vale..Juice Master.

I use Hemp protein and Hawaiian spirulina.
My juices always have beetroot in them, carrots, apples, lime, celery, pineapple and ginger.
I add other things to change the taste and variation of fruit/veg...but those I've listed are the base of all my juices/smoothies.

    Everyone is different.

I started at 285lbs. Last WI Friday was 169.6 lbs. My GW was 184. I’m closing in on 12 years at goal. I lost weight eating at a calorie deficit. In the end I spent about as much time losing weight as I did gaining.

I hope your juicing program works. It’s not something I could do. If it doesn’t work, come back and try the flit side of that coin. The flip side is a calorie deficit that you find satisfying plus plenty of time. Only reason I made it I think was that I could tolerate the time it took to lose. I don’t know why it seems everyone thinks we can rush to a healthy weight. Overwhelming evidence is we can’t. Hope you turn out to be an exception.
