Just introducing myself. I am a 25 year old male, 6 foot tall and I started this process about 20 days ago at 85kg. I had a very high body fat percentage and would deffinatley consider myself skinnyfat. So I am attempting to cut down as much fat as possible to 75kg before commencing a clean bulk. The macros im aiming for are %40 carbs %40 protein and %20 fat with a caloric intake of about 2200. My diet mostly consists of lean meat, vegitables and some brown rice. Exersise is 6 days a week which is all weight training. I am aiming to do a long cardio session only once a week. I havent been adding my excersises to my daily records as it seems like too much effort. So far ive dropped just over 3kg and pretty happy with how easy this app is for counting macros! I first started lifting when I was 18 and I never really escaped the dirty bulk phase. When I stopped lifting at about age 22 my poor diet habbits caught up with me and I put on a lot of weight. Ive never attempted to cut before and its interesting dealing with the lack of energy in the gym due to a low carbohydrate intake and the withdrawals from daily junkfood I was consuming. I am slowly starting to get into a routine and the cravings for a big fat quarter pounder/ pizza are subsiding haha. I am interested in connecting with like minded people and providing mutual support to others going through their weightloss/muscle gainz journey.

Look to add low GI foods into your meal plan to keep you fuller for longer. It's the cravings and snacking between meals which kills you! I've just come off a year long cut so I know how hard it can be.
