Hi everyone! This is my first post so i’m not sure how things are generally supposed to be worded. Please have patience!

I’m a 23 year old person that stands at 5ft 11in, as of a week ago I weighed 149lbs; it might be less now.
I’ve been plagued by disordered eating for years. For a while I was doing pretty well, but lately i’ve been really struggling to eat more calories than I burn; I work a pretty physical job (dog grooming salon). My doctors and friends are starting to get concerned about my weight loss, i’ve been steadily losing about 1-3lbs per every 3 weeks. It’s very disheartening and saddening for me! I WANT to be healthy!

Does anyone have any helpful tips or suggestions? I am open to ANYTHING.

Health is a vehicle not the destination. Your body is the only vehicle you will have for the rest of your life. It's time to reach out for help and sit down with someone. Face-to-Face. Your doctors are concerned. It may be time to try someone completely new that can help you recover.

Hi! I have. I have a team of 3 awesome doctors that I really like. Unfortunately my health insurance won’t cover me going anywhere else; like to a nutritionist.
I’m working on doing better, I was just posting this thread hoping for tips on meal planning and eating stuff with a higher nutritional value. 😅

If you're looking to get in more calories without a lot more work or volume of food, think nuts and nut butters, full fat dairy, pasta, that sort of thing. Avoid diet type foods like artificially sweetened stuff, low fat dairy, rice cakes, etc. Even some fruit can pack in more calories than you'd expect and is easy to have on hand, like bananas and grapes. Fruit smoothies with full fat dairy might work. And don't be afraid to mix in some high cal treats like ice cream or potato chips. If that's what it takes to get an extra couple of hundred calories in, go for it. I know finding balance can be hard. I don't have any experience with EDs, but I hope this helps.

And please let your doctors know you are struggling if you haven't already.
