I have been checking out their site, I already use the app on my phone. Hoping to connect with people to run with locally. Let me know if you use it, maybe we can be running buddies AND weight loss buddies!

Is this for iPhone or Android?

Great app, great site! I'm a paying member of both!

Yes, I paid for the app before they made it free. And I pay the $20 a year at the site. I don't pay for anything if I don't have to. That's how strongly I feel about what they have developed.

I use runkeeper for hikes and mountain bike rides. i figured out that the free version is set to about a 150 lbs. person. so adjust calories accordingly.

I use it on my iphone, but I'm pretty sure it is available for android too.

I really really love this app, and I am just now using the site. I am hoping to connect in real life with people, in the hopes of training for a 5k.

OH HEY! I see you're in Seattle! Check out the Pumpkin Push at Seward Park. It's October 29. I saw you're looking at the end of September too. There's a 5k in Everett that's nice and flat. It's the Everett 5K-9 (some folks bring their dogs). It's October 2, I believe.

The UW Dawg Dash is really fun, too. A run around Husky Stadium and around campus. It's October 23.

I found the Oktober Fest run as well, I think that will be my first. Then I also found the Dawg Dash, and at least 6 more before the end of the year. I am going to be a 5k fool!
