Hi Everyone,
I recently started half marathon training and my trainer recommended I increase my protein intake. I don't eat eggs so i'm looking for some suggestions on high protein snacks to reach my goal.
Thanks!

Yoghurt; I like using a higher protein thick natural yoghurt (Quark based) then adding protein powder for more protein, flavour and sweetness1

biltong!
Just discovered the stuff and it is tasty and soooo many flavours. 35g can be around 70 cals and 15-18g protein0 -
meat can be a snack if you enjoy it. Small portion of chicken or turkey.
i make home made protein bars which are lower cal/sugar than most stuff you buy. You can also add protein powder to yogurt to really up the protein.
I like some of these products as well https://simplyprotein.com/

Dannon Light and Fit Greek Yogurt

Greek Yogurt (I prefer whole milk)
String Cheese (not the light). Two sticks has 16g protein and practically no carbs.
If you really need protein, I mix protein powder in the greek yogurt (I do this if it's a meal, sometimes it's breakfast, or pre/post workout if I want). Beware, some powders do not mix well and are nasty. I use Integrated Supplements Whey Isolate and the vanilla is great in yogurt. It dissolves better in yogurt than it does in liquid.1 -

I second tuna. A regular can of tuna, light meat in water, has 20 grams of protein with no carbs and only one gram of day for 90 calories. I use it as an easy way to add protein without "using up" my other macros.0

Whey protein shakes. 20g for 100 or so calories. Drinkable with water. Very nice with whole milk if your calories allow.0

I mix Greek yogurt, protein powder, PB2, and fiber cereal with enough milk/soy milk to get the consistency I want. I eat this for breakfast, but it could certainly be a snack.0
