Favorite Vegan/Whole Food Plantbased Recipes?!?
Trying to find great whole food plant based recipes to prepare. Just started my weight loss journey. Please share recipes you or your family have enjoyed! I would love to give them a try! I am going to try this cooking thing because eating frozen meals and takeout is not treating my body well.

Nora Cooks (https://www.noracooks.com) is a great resource for kid-friendly plant-based, no added oil recipes. We like the Sheet Pan Cauliflower Fajitas; Cheesy Vegan Quesadillas with Black Beans and Vegetables; Hawaiian BBQ Vegan Pizza; Classic Vegan Coleslaw; Bacon Ranch Vegan Pasta Salad; and Vegan Potato Salad. A lot of these recipes use cashews, which may seem like it is a high-fat option but if you work out the nutritional breakdown using MFP, the fat content isn't really as high as you would expect. For example, a serving of the potato salad is 217 calories, with 5.1g fat, 51.4g carbs and 6.2g protein.
My other favourite online recipe resources are Susan Voisin's Fat Free Vegan (https://blog.fatfreevegan.com) and Angela Liddon's Oh She Glows (https://ohsheglows.com).
Feel free to add me as a friend; I allow viewing of my diary.

Silken tofu blended with a touch of oat milk and nutritional yeast. Fry red onion and garlic then add in the sauce and peas / broad beans / green beans, season with salt and pepper and serve with wholewheat spaghetti ... that's one of my favourites! V. High in protein and low in fat. x1
