Hi everyone! So.. I hear alot of good reviews about laughing cow cheese light wedges! I've had them before, not as much.. But they are good. Hmm.. Has anyone really ate these and continued to have progress with their weight loss? It sort of seems too good to be true! LOL! I'd love to start using them on my egg whites or on my veggies or even whole wheat pasta!

And what are your favorite Laughing Cow recipes?! :) any responses are appreciated!!

As far as hot sauce.. Has anyone tried siracha hot sauce? I heard "Franks Hot Sauce" is good but what is the nutrion on that as far as cals, sugar, sodium? Thanks everyone!!

I love Laughing Cow, Frank's and Sriracha, but I limit them because of the sodium. Other than that, there shouldn't be a reason they would hamper your weight loss. Spice can actually speed up your metabolism.

The sodium is high on Laughing Cow wedges, but I do have them sometimes.

I mix 2 laughing cow wedges with sauteed diced peppers and onions and mushroom stems and stuff 8-10 mushroom caps for a nice light appetizer.

I've also replaced cream cheese with laughing cow light swiss in a cheese ball.

And for hot sauce, Tabasco beats all in terms of sodium.

My fav Light Laughing Cow cheese are Blue Cheese or Chipotle. My son (3 and 1/2) loves it too! I love cheese but can't have regular now as much as before, so Cow cheese really helps me. As for siracha hot sauce, I love it too, bit salty. ALso love garlic and chilli hot sauce from Huy Fong. But most of the time I make my own hot salsa to avoid to much salt. I used dry mexican hot peppers.

  • I love Frank's hot sauce (original cayenne).. 0 cals.. but you do have to worry about sodium (200 mg per teaspoon). I eat it with chicken usually:)

I use them on my sandwiches in place of regular cheese and I love them..

I have also used 2 LC wedges and 1/4 c. of soymilk to make an alfredo sauce for pasta and it was DELISH!

I hope laughing cow cheese wedges are not too good to be true, I have one everyday with my sandwich thin bread (135 calories breakfast with an apple). The siracha hot sauce I use on everything to add flavor. I am sure the sodium isn't great but I love the taste on just about anything.

I put different hot sauces on everything- Frank's Red Hot, Melissa's XXXHot, Siracha...you name it, I love it. However, the sodium is out of control in all hot sauces so use sparingly. I home cook most things and don't rely on sodium laden food (e.g. restaurant food, frozen dinners, etc.) so I don't really go over on sodium often, so a shake or two of hot sauce won't kill me. Your miles may vary.

Laughing Cow is good, I like the Mini Babybell Light cheese for a good hit of protein (6g!). I never cook with them, so I can't help you out there. I know Hungry Girl uses them in cooking a lot. I am NOT a fan of the way that woman cooks (crimes against food, lol) but many people here are. You can look up some of her recipes online.
