Hi

I got some food from a local butcher, and some of their food the barcode is cut off, other food they do, the barcode reads but doesn't come up with anything. And some of the food they do the barcode comes up with some equivalent e.g. their chicken burgers come up as tesco chicken burgers. My issue is with cases of no barcode or no food recognised from the barcode.

I bought a pack of food from them, 4 slices of gefilte fish, it has a label that shows me how many calories per 100g. The pack doesn't tell me how many grams it is but I measured it as 270g.

I don't know whether to put it in as a meal or a recipe or a food.

Say I choose meal in the app.

Then it says "create a meal for food you often eat together to make logging faster". But I don't see any option to add it.

If I choose 'my foods' it says "create your own food if you can't find what you're looking for in the our database" But I can't see an option to create the food.

Then a bit later I try it and it is a bit better.

If I choose meals, it shows lunch from a particular day, and gives an option to create a meal, f I choose that, it gives me option to add food but I seem to be limited by what is in the database.

So then I try choosing 'my foods' . This time it gives a "create a food" option,

Then I have an issue with "Serving Size".

If I type in 1 pack

it says Error Please enter the serving size of the food in a format such as "3 cups".

Even if I try 3 cups it gives that error!

Are you typing the number in the first field and then "pack" or "cups" in the second field, labeled units? If you try to put them both in the same field, you're going to get an error message.

ah, thanks. And I see that while it has 'cup', it doesn't have 'pack' or 'slice' but that's ok, it has grams and I can measure that. Thanks
