Hi all. New here. My allowance for calories is 2150. I have currently had 1600 today and also burned 800 doing excersize. I keep hearing that i have to burn more than i eat. So if ive had 1600 and only burned 800 with excersize am i doing this wrong?
May sound dumb but i really have no clue haha.
Hope you guys can help.
Cheers
Lynd

You burn calories just by being alive. Google BMR.0

From what I understand MFP gives you a calorie amount where you will lose weight as long as you stay in that range. Any actives you do extra is a bonus and you can either eat them calories or also save them to go towards the calories you haven’t eaten.
So if MFP recommend 2150 you probably would need around 3000 to maintain your current weight so eaten 2150 without working out should make you lose weight anyways.1 -
Ah right now i understand! Thanks for your help!0
