Thank you!

Hi Tia
I have always followed the fasting rule. It's 16:8, 8 hours of eating 16 hours of starving. Last time I had done it in university, lost 20 kilos in 6 months. I did cheat a little bit

hi tia,
i started intermittent fasting 3 weeks ago 16:8 window and noticed a great change but a week ago i switched to 20:4 window restricting more on my carbs and sugar intake i have lost 3kgs till now after struggling for too long after my last child.. i wish i learned abt it just earlier.. i just love it.. but the only thing i dont like abt intermittent fasting is the bad breath despite brushing my teeth several times a day.. i try to keep my mouth hydrating by drinking lots of water.. so just wondering if you encountered such problem?? but other than that i just love my reflection in the mirror more than what i see on the scale2 -
I just started IF last week. I started the 20:4 on July 5th. I guess it's been almost 2 weeks. I only do the 20:4 Monday-Friday while I'm working and eat low carb and light on weekends. So far I'm down 5 pounds.
Exercising is getting easier and fasting is not as hard. I think I'm losing inches but I haven't measured. I'm giving myself 30 days before I make any changes one way or the other.3 -
I started intermittent fasting with keto at the same time and have 11 days lost 17 pounds already. I'm doing 20:43

I followed an IF fasting schedule to successfully lose weight, maintain my weight and purposefully gain weight.
It's your calorie intake that matters, not how your meals are timed. If it suits your lifestyle and makes sticking to your calorie goal easier, go for it!6 -
Today is my 1st (20:4) day & we have full blood moon, tonight. Wish me luck!
I have been doing 16:8 (since beginning of July) but put back 2 to 3 lbs. I believe drinking Keto coffee doesn't work for me.
Thanks, Tia for asking this question in the IF community & thanks to everyone who responded. This is going to help me keep focused!0 -

This is the ONLY reason to do so, and it always struck me as a dreadful way if life..3 -

Intermittent fasting will help with your success only if you find it helps you stick to your calorie goal, because consuming less calories than you expend is how you lose weight. What time of the day you eat them makes no difference whatsoever.
The only "magic" to intermittent fasting is that some people find that eating in a smaller time window makes it easier to stick to their calories. There's no other weight loss "magic" to it.3
