New and a bit confused and intimidated

Hey so I’m Vera!! I’ve been battling self-esteem issues related to being overweight ever since I got pregnant with my son over 5 years (today is his birthday)!! I was an athletes before having him and then fell into a super lazy, unhealthy lifestyle.
I’m 22 years old and trying to lose 40-50 lbs!! I started using this app Monday. I just made my diary public so if anyone wants to be friends or give advice, I’d love it!!
