Motivation during stressful periods

Hey there,
I've been on a weight loss journey after having my second baby in January. I started off great and lost 15 pounds, but life has been crazy and I struggle with emotional eating. I've stayed in the same weight range for the past 3 months.i do great during the week keeping up with my diet and I run quite a bit, but weekends are crazy and I end up "stress eating" whenever something stressful pops up (our basement flooded in may, for example).
I know I can't be the only one with busy weekends or who "stress eats". Anyone have tips for me? I'm ready to start losing again! Thank you.

Yea, I'm kind of the same way. I can lock it down completely fine during the week but when the weekend comes it just gets harder since you don't have the same structured schedule. It's just about realizing that the 30 seconds of pleasure you will get from stress eating is not worth the effect it will have on you.

Hi there! I think I can see something that adds to your stress, that you might not be aware of: i do great during the week keeping up with my diet. Your diet is just what you eat. Habits means automatization. Good eating habits does not mean forcing yourself to eat food you don't like instead of eating food you like. Think through if you would eat like you do now, if you didn't have weight issues.3
