No, what most people are saying is that strength training is not the priority right now for the op.4 -

Yes. She should not be doing anything extra to burn the precious little calories she is eating.7 -
Hi OP! Therapist here. First, I want to commend you on being open about how you're feeling and asking for help. I'm sorry your current therapist may not be a good fit. If this is overstepping, I apologize, but I wanted to offer a couple thoughts for your consideration:
1) Another poster stated that sometimes it takes a couple tries with therapy to find the right fit, and this can be very true! It's also very important that you let your therapist know where you are in your eating/body image process. If you're terrified at the idea of gaining weight, and being 7 lbs higher (still on the low end for your height) makes you cry daily, your therapist should know how distressing that is for you. He/she will be better able to help you if they know how much of a concern it is. If you feel like it's really truly just not the right fit, don't be afraid to find someone new.
2) If you have disordered eating or body image concerns, I would strongly recommend seeking a therapist who specializes in eating and body image concerns. Not all therapists have the specialized training to effectively support you in eating disorder recovery, and some concerns require specialization.
3) If at all possible, find a therapist who works with or refers to an ED-knowledgeable registered dietician. ED treatment centers often provide team-oriented services that give you practical daily advice for calorie goals while also helping address any psychological difficulties that arise with trying to maintain a healthy intake and weight.
I wish you the best13
