Full but unsatisfied

On my new diet I find myself feeling full, however I am not satisfied. I feel myself wanting to eat something else to get satisfaction. Has anyone else felt like this and what do you do to get that satisfied feeling that prevents you from eating?

    Are you craving something specific? If so, you need to make room in your diet budget for it.
    Otherwise, try eating smaller meals, more often, so you can have that "something else" in
    a little while!
  • I find that when I'm not satisfied, even though I've eaten, it's my body telling me it's low on vitamins or nutrients. Munch on some veggies (dip them in hummus, for extra protein), make sure you're drinking enough water. Good luck :)

    What is it you crave after you finish eating?

    I always have a sweet craving after a meal. I have dark chocolate, fruit smoothies or yogurt and it helps.

    Take a look at your food preparation. Spices and seasonings can add excitement to foods. Crunchy (raw veggies) may help to satisfy as well. I've heard that both these things bring fulfillment to eating. For me the spices and seasonings are the best because it enhances the flavor of food.

    I had this problem a couple of days ago, and I was having it BAD. Eating two lowfat string cheeses fixed it :)

    I'm guessing insufficient protein intake has something to do with it, as my protein intake that day was lower than usual.

    alot of that if you are full will be emotional or stress eating....
    you really need to combat that one x
