Foods to munch on?

first, I have a terrible sleep schedule. I hurt my back 2 years ago an can't work. I don't sleep very often or long. I often find myself bored an hungry at 3-4am an would eat out of boredom. Anyone know any healthy snacks I could eat that may settle my craving without me eating all my calories before I even reach breakfast?

Carrot sticks, fat free yogurt, my go to is smart pop popcorn in seasalt to curb my salt cravings0

It depends on what you deem healthy, and what (if anything, given the very nature of cravings) settles your cravings. It could also be that you're better off ignoring those cravings so you can spend the calories for a better breakfast/lunch/dinner, which in turn might have a positive effect on your sleep.0

have you tried working on the sleep issues? i'd focus more on those than trying to find foods to fill the 3-4am boredom3

Sorry about your back
I had chronic back pain for decades. Are you doing PT? What kind?
I found gentle yoga very beneficial and was able to work up to more vigorous yoga.
I find this story of an injured paratrooper who was told he would never walk unassisted again very inspirational:

I have a fractured vertebrae an nerve damage down my left hip all the way to my toes. I only sleep 3-4 hours because the pain is really intense. I have been on several pain meds with nothing working, injections with no relief an even a nerve ablation with no positive result. Since I can't sleep I watch tv, an rest as much as possible while everyone else is asleep so I don't disturb others. Being awake 20 hours a day I tend to snack a little more an was just looking for something mostly healthy to munch on.1 -

I did 6 months of PT mostly stretches, bike, stairs an TENS unit. Sadly PT only made things worse for me. I have nerve damage an one wrong bend/twist would put me down for a while.
I have recently slowly been biking on a recumbent exercise bike an I enjoy short walks but nothing crazy yet.

I'm currently the only one in my household trying to lose some weight an eat healthier. We have chips, chocolate, ice cream etc. We also have veggies an fruits. I was just curious what others would recommend for a healthy/less fattening snack. Since starting on here an watching what I put in my body an how much I have noticed I have been sleeping more deep but until my back an leg are fixed I won't be getting much more sleep.1 -

I might have to try some popcorn, maybe even plain. A friend recommended pickles because they are low in cals. Thanks for the advice0 -

I'm not a huge fan of cucumbers but it does beat out junk food. Plus we have some almost ready in our garden, thank you for the recommendation.0 -

Sounds kinda weird but I have a baby so, her puffs are like 25 calories a 1/2 cup so are the yogurt freeze dried snacks. They are yummy. Hope you get some pain relief.:)1

I still eat lunchables from time to time so not weird at all. Thanks I’ll look into that.
