No idea what that program is...

But all you need to lose weight is a calorie deficit. Eat fewer calories in a day than your body uses. Enter your stats into this site, choose to lose 1 lb per week, then eat the number of calories it gives you. A food scale is a useful tool to do that.

@littlejenny619 - After reading the link @TavistockToad provided, what medical issue do you have? May make a difference in what advice is given.

So it's kind of a high protein, high fat diet, very low in sodium? Ouch!

Of course it doesn't work. What kind of ideas are you willing to accept?

'Dr Poon's low-carb, low-sodium, low-fat lifestyle diet is about what to eat rather than how much to eat.'

Low will to live, if I had to eat that way

OP, if you're willing to share a bit more about your specific health circumstances that prompted you to use this diet, we might be able to offer some advice. At its simplest, not losing weight for an extended period of time means you are eating at maintenance. WHAT you are eating is secondary.

I started this program last year because basically I was suffering from knee pain, I’ve lost 40 lbs but now it’s getting very hard to stick to the program because the options are very limited, a lot of protein, low salt low sugar, very limited fruits and no carbs. Don’t get me wrong, it works great but very boring...

Any diet that basically eliminates a macro will work. As stated above, it's probably hard to stick to. We all probably will want a piece of cake eventually.

Low carb AND low fat. That would suck.

    All True.

For sure, you are all right, I know the basics now it’s really not that hard, so I’m trying this app to make aware of what I eat and how much I move..
Thank you all for taking the time to respond, I really do appreciate it. 😃😃😃😃

First of all, congratulations on losing 40 pounds that's quite an accomplishment and it seems like you did it at a very healthy pace. Just keep in mind what works for you at the beginning of your weight loss journey (in this case a highly structured program that takes much of the guesswork out of what to eat) isn't always what is going to complete it and let you maintain your weight loss long term. Maintaining a safe calorie deficit with myfitnesspal will definitely work in terms of weight loss, in terms of what to eat from a health perspective you might want to check out these guidelines from the NIH:

I remember a poon diet thread years ago, back when you could have made the comment. It was awesome. Now I want to go looking for it...

OP, track your calories accurately and consistently over time. It will work. How much more weight do you have to lose? Height? Current weight? More information will help us give better advise.

Read the stickies posts at the top of the getting started and general weight loss forums.

Edited because "someone" didn't finish reading first.
