want to take up a sport but not sure what....any ideas?

hey anyone got any ideas on a sport that you dont need to b good at before you join? im in scotland so usa ideas myt no apply to me???

    Martial arts, kickboxing, horseback riding...not sure if you'd consider all those as sports but they'll definately give you a workout. Have fun!

    only way to get good at anything is to play... practice makes perfect they say... so with that said what sports do you like?

  • Rowing!! It's great for every muscle group of the body, you can do it at any age, any season, and it's low impact on your joints! =)

    Running!

    Get some good shoes!

    Start out with 1 mile and keep doing it until you can complete it w/o stopping. Every Saturday, add 1/2 of a mile. Eventually, you can do 8 mile runs 3 or 4 times a week :)

    I tried indoor rock climbing a few weeks ago and had never done it before. I caught on pretty quickly. I am terrified of heights, but it was so much fun regardless. Great workout too.

    I agree with the kick boxing, MMA, ect...

    It's fun and a really good workout.

    quite fancy kickboxing actually....although think i also like the idea of a team sport
