Hey y’all! I’m currently a vegetarian but toying with the idea of going vegan. I order tofu all the time but today was the first time I actually bought some to cook at home. I’m looking for good tofu recipes/ other high protein vegetarian or vegan recipes for my highly active lifestyle. The reason I’m toying with going vegan is because my stomach is pretty sensitive so I’m trying to find a diet that won’t make me feel sick all the time. I like tofu best when it’s crispy! Thankyou all for the help and support ❤️

I like putting a THIN coating of barbecue sauce over it and baking it in the oven. If it’s thin, it will crisp up nice. Great to make a “burger” with a bit of lettuce, tomato and pineapple on it!

There are honestly some fantastic vegan blogs out there. I spend ages trawling through them. If you have never heard of Jackfruit before, you are gonna love its versatility in vegan food.

Rather than give you recipes (too many to write!) my favourite blogs are:

    https://itdoesnttastelikechicken.com/recipes/

    https://www.bosh.tv/about

Bosh! Also have a lovely cookbook which can be bought in UK supermarkets and Amazon

This site has a fabulous raw pad Thai https://cookieandkate.com/2014/no-noodle-pad-thai/ but you would need to swap the honey out for maple syrup or agave to make it vegan)

There will be plenty of Tofu recipes among others. And remember that tofu can make dessert as well woohoo

If you don't have pinterest, I would strongly suggest it. I find it's the best recipe search engine. You can look up "Tofu" and hundreds of pictures show up and click on the one you find interesting, it's much easier than google I find.

I really enjoyed this tofu recipe last week: http://littlespicejar.com/spicy-peanut-tofu-stir-fry/ I don't have chili oil but I used sriracha instead and it was great.
  • My favorite YouTuber is cheap lazy vegan, and she has a video on how to cook tofu.
