No motivation to exercise

Okay so I have been trying to change my lifestyle now for a little over a month, but now I have no motivation to execise. How do I get that back??? I have lost 9lbs well its 8 lbs now and I know I can do it I just have lost the will do anything. Maybe I am bored with the workouts or I am afraid to execise, I have to use a lot of energy to do and I don't have any. I am almost out of the 200's and I want to do this!!! Does anyone have any ideas or workouts that are fun and motivating??

I have a hard time with exercise. I think sometimes it is just a matter of forcing yourself to get up and do something. Then, as you exercise, it gets easier and requires less motivation.
Ultimately, you have to be motivated toward the goal. No point depriving yourself of food if you aren't going to keep up the exercising part of things0 -
one thing that helps me when I start trying to talk myself out of a workout is to just do a 5 minute workout...anyone can do that...then it always ends up being longer....and all is well....another thing...get nekkid and stand in front of the mirror...are you perfect? if so, skip the workout, if not, work out0

My one tip would be to go to some group fitness classes. Make the decision the night before, have your clothes ready, and act like it's a dr's appt. Once you have gone to the same classes a few times, the faces start getting farmiliar, and it's a nice routine! Good Luck!0

I WAS JUST LIKE THIS TODAY....started working out and stopped after 6 mins and considered sitting on my *kitten* the rest of the day................then I talked to myself...."Self, do you want to change your life? Do you want this weight gone???? If you do then get your lazy fat *kitten* up and go do your workout" Well that worked, I got up and did 22 mins more and burned 246 cals.......and yeah its not alot, but its frickin 246 cals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't recommend everyone cusses outloud about their fat *kitten*, just seems to be the only way to get mine going.....
Try Zumba.....or oh oh oh I saw this new advertisment for Flirty Girls....its like a stripper routine...looks fun.

Can you get a workout partner? If someone else is holding you accountable, it's hard to cancel. Plus if you get a good one, they will motivate you and share new ideas with you. What does your routine look like now?0

Perhaps paying the money will be a motivator. If you pay the money, you don't want to waste it and you definitely want to get your money's worth. Just a thought!0

I agree - do a group class, but more than that. Make friends. Get up in front of the class, introduce yourself. Talk to the instructor. Get a friend to go with you. Find someone in the class who is also struggling and swap numbers. The more work you put in, the more you'll get out AND the more you'll motivate yourself to go!0

Do you 'think' about going before you go? You know, the "Gosh I'm tired...I did a lot today...well maybe I burned enough calories already...I can make up for this tomorrow....I just don't feel like exerting myself...I have to clean/wash the dog/do quantum physics...etc."? I find that some days I try to justify not going to the gym. So I just stop thinking, change my clothes, and get out the door. That's the hardest part.0 -
Watching the Biggest Loser really motivates me! If those people can exercise 8-10 hours a day, what is stopping us from walking 30 minutes on a treadmill? Anytime I feel like stopping I imagine Jillian yelling at me to go ahead and quit. I keep on until the timer reaches zero!!!0
