Calorie tracking

I set up my Apple Watch to connect to my fitness pal, the steps are tracking correctly but the calories are way off. For example, yesterday I burnt 1,022 calories on my watch and only 200 on this app. Anyone know what’s happening lol?
Thanks!! Also feel free to add me as a friend looking for some inspiration and motivation!

I think that the calorie app in MPF adjusts the calories to whatever fitness level you select when it figures out what your daily allotment is. Good luck on your journey- hope this helps!

I try to not to get overly hung up on worrying about calories burned, the results will be the scale - the moment of truth. As long as you monitor what you eat and practice due diligence, results will follow!

For future reference, if you click the adjustment it should tell you what the adjustment is (where the numbers come from).
