They're exactly the same. They just rebranded so consumers know there is no sugar in it.13

The store I get them from switched over a few months ago. I cannot taste as difference at all.6
-
They said they tweaked the blend of flavors for the no sugar version to taste more like regular coke. Again, I can't tell.4
-
Thanks, I have noticed that the new coke is now 1 calorie0

It was probably 1 calorie before too. If a food/drink has fewer than 5 calories per serving they can round it down to 0 on the label.9 -
DH says he noticed the taste difference, but it wasn't enough to stop drinking it. It may have all been in his head for all I know. But I did hear there was a flavor tweak.1
-
I asked him, he said it was a wee bit sweeter.2

Diet coke.
I taste a difference between zero and no sugar. I would drink zero if there was no diet, but I won't drink no sugar.... I think it tastes vile.5 -
I notice a slight, subtle difference between the two but they both taste just fine to me. I probably am not the most reliable source of information though because I can happy with Pepsi Max too. They have just released a Pepsi Max Raspberry in Australia. That is now my favourite drink of choice.1

Yummy! I haven’t seen the Pepsi max raspberry!0 -

I haven't seen this in Coles or Woolies yet, just at Foodland for the first time over the last week (which may not help if you are not in SA). Hopefully the majors will have it soon.1 -
I also think Coke no sugar is sweeter, and much prefer Coke Zero. If they get rid of it in my country, I’ll probably just go back to Diet Coke. Not a big fan of the extra sweetness!1
-
I've noticed the label changes, but I generally don't drink Coke anyway. And if we need to choose no calories or no sugar in a drink, it's probably best to be drinking something else.13

Coke had a raspberry version, but it was the "less sugar" version. Urgh. An orange "no sugar coke" is available too.
I just mix sugar free raspberry Cordial with my diet coke...1 -
Since we're on about changes in formula in diet drinks, has anyone tasted the new "feisty cherry" diet coke? It's replacing the regular diet cherry coke (which I love), and it has a nasty, bizarre burning effect on the back of your throat, like you swallowed too much pepper. I had to google it when I first tasted it - I was worried someone had injected some poison into the can - true story!2

Sounds feisty cherry coke isn't a regular thing where I am, but I'm not fussed... I think it tastes like cough medicine.0 -

Yeah, while I was reading up on the feisty cherry, I looked at what people were saying about the other new flavors - there wasn't much love out there. Diet coke is my drink of choice too, but I do like a little cherry flavor every now and then.0 -
Coke no sugar and Coke Zero taste the same to me - any flavour tweaking was too subtle for me to notice.
I also drink pepsi max which I like, and can tell difference.
Diet Coke to me is least best although I will drink it - has more of a chemically taste to me than the others.1 -

I agree! As a child of the 80s, Coke Zero/No Sugar is way too different from what I'm used to.0 -
I guess we'll get zero rebranded to no sugar at some point then.
Personally I can't stand Zero but sadly it's replacing diet almost everywhere here.

Ditto for me.0 -
The new blood orange diet coke tastes like alka seltzer. I threw the can away. I did like the ginger lime though.1

there is definately a slight difference in taste but not much0

Yes! I bought it when I was sick, and Target didn't have any normal Diet Coke. I bought the feisty cherry, since i figured I loved all things cherry. OMG. It was *horrible*. Like, Diet Coke should not make my throat and mouth burn.2 -
I really like the Ginger Lime Diet Coke, but apart from that I haven't been impressed with the new flavors. And I guess you could say the Coke Zero Sugar is sweeter than Coke Zero, but what I don't care for is it's missing the zing of crispness at the end. It's definitely a downgrade in my opinion.
I'm down to mostly drinking flavored waters and Cherry Coke Zero now, with the occasional Ginger Lime Diet Coke when I stop at QuikTrip on my way to work.0 -

It's a bit more tart. I didn't like it.1 -
Coke No Sugar has a different blend of sweeteners from Coke Zero. It definitely tastes different, and does NOT taste more like regular coke than Coke Zero does. I thought Coke Zero was pretty damn close.1
-
This makes me incredibly sad. Coke zero is the only diet pop I actually like because it doesn’t taste like diet, why the heck would they wreck a good thing by tweaking it, it’s new coke all over again 😭😭😭1

Not a fan of any of their new formula drinks, something about the ingredients like others have said burn out your throat and have a raunchy after taste. They actually give me really horrible heart burn and make me sick too. So if that’s the formula they are switching out with Coke Zero it’s gonna make it really easy for me to give up pop altogether I think 🤢🤢0
