Fitbit sync with MyFitnessPal

I have my Fitbit synced with my fitness pal app on iPhone X. The MFP app syncs “steps” recorded in Fitbit but doesn’t sync my workouts in the gym that my Fitbit tracks. Is there a setting that allows MFP app to sync all exercise coming from Fitbit? Thanks / Jeff

No. The calorie adjustment you get is based off your total Fitbit burn up to your latest sync. It can’t tell whether those calories were burned from exercise, general activity, or your BMR.

I have a step counter, but when I wear it on my wrist it counts knitting, chopping veggies etc.as steps. I've been keeping it in my pocket but wonder if I should.

No, it will sync your calorie burn and the step count - so it's there, but the actual type of exercise will not show up on the Newsfeed here.

My strap broke when I was on vacation in Italy, so I kept it in my jacket or jeans pocket and it seemed to be pretty accurate. I didn’t get the Heart rate feature obviously, but I wasn’t about to NOT track 25,000 steps days 😂
